The 2011 Christmas lust from Hamleys was always going to be ahead of its rivals, both in its scope and its release date.
There was only one cross-over toy that was on this list and on Tescos Christmas toy list, the Kiddizoom Twist camera. Two different toy brand favourites appeared on both, although Hamleys rated the Lego Ninjago Fire Temple rather than the Lego City Police Station, (a wise choice in retrospect) and the Nerf Vortex Nitron over the Nite Fighter (ditto).
We agreed that Moshi Monsters would be a definite must-have for fans at Christmas, and who could resist Let's Rock Elmo from Seseme Street, still going strong after how many years?!
